Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring their well-being. Your passion for animals and ability to handle them with care will be essential in creating a positive experience for both the pets and their owners.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels, play areas, and equipment.
• Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their dietary needs.
• Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
• Assist in administering basic grooming tasks such as brushing and bathing when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, health status, and any incidents that occur during daycare hours.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred; previous roles as a veterinary technician or in pet grooming are advantageous.
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and proper handling methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care is essential.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
• Certification in pet first aid or CPR is a plus but not mandatory.
