Excel Project Coordinator #24-00352

PROJECT COORDINATOR WITH ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS NEEDED FOR INTERNATIONAL FIRM. 

ONE YEAR ASSIGNMENT, HYBRID AFTER TRAINING. $19./HR

  • Screen files from IT (40 or more Excel files supplied daily): TechLine cases, CAD cases, Quality Monitoring Reports
  • (QMR), Claims, then create summaries of conditions reported and transfer data into master log spreadsheets (excel files) following agreed convention for sorting and tracking.
  • Confirm following an agreed process collection of detailed items from a checklist, troubleshooting guide or other reference material.
  • Asses the level of clarity to fit the requirement for the next level of the process.
  • Follow up with appropriate parties (retailer/SOA Service) using e-mail, messaging or phone as applicable to collect missing checklist items.
  • Maintain various spreadsheets (excel format) for tracking of all items in tracking logs and provide timely progress update on the results.
  • Support the team in issuing technical reports (TRs) and following up on ongoing investigations.
  • Coordinate failed part collection and track the progress of the collection as directed by the manager.
  • On occasion assist with hands-on hardware tests using test benches and vehicles to validate field cases or software update files.
  • Support ad hoc request to assist with KPIs reports or quality performance assessment by performing custom operations in the excel file following agreed convention.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have an ability to learn how to use proprietary SOA IT systems.
  • Must be able to learn new process and retain the knowledge applying it in day-to-day activities.
  • Must demonstrate computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office and working knowledge of MS Excel: group, search, filter, pivot, format, etc.
  • Excellent reading and comprehension skills. Able to communicate effectively using phone and e-mail.
  • Willing to learn and develop understanding of various infotainment devices and their function.
  • Background and practical experience with smart phones to install updates, applications and to utilize Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless technology.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced service environment with constantly changing priorities.
  • Prefer 2 or more years in Automotive or IT field.
Additional Requirements Preferred:
  • A history of working effectively with teams to gather information or data.
  • A track record of maintaining accurate and detailed data.
  • Previous experience with taking on and growing within a role.
  • History that indicates ability to take on increasing responsibility and job ownership
