The Opportunity

We’re looking for an inspiring, passionate, energetic, and forward-thinking Executive Director (ED) to lead our organization into its next stage of growth. As our ED, you’ll be the face of Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity, working hand-in-hand with our dedicated Board of Directors, passionate team, and committed volunteers to ensure we continue making a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do

✅ Lead with vision – Oversee the strategic growth of the organization while ensuring fiscal responsibility and programmatic excellence.

✅ Build strong partnerships – Engage with donors, community leaders, government officials, and stakeholders to amplify our mission.

✅ Champion fundraising & sustainability – Plan and execute impactful fundraising initiatives, from events to donor engagement strategies.

✅ Empower our team – Recruit, develop, and inspire staff and volunteers to drive collaboration and innovation.

✅ Shape the future – Develop and implement policies, strategic plans, and new initiatives that increase our reach and effectiveness.

✅ Ensure operational excellence – Oversee daily operations, ensuring goals are met and programs are executed with integrity and efficiency.

What You Bring

✅ Financial and strategic acumen – Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and developing sustainable revenue strategies.

✅ Strong leadership & people skills – Ability to engage, motivate, and support a diverse team of staff, volunteers, and community partners.

✅ Adaptability & problem-solving skills – Comfortable navigating challenges and making data-driven, strategic decisions.

✅ Fundraising & public relations expertise – Experience in donor relations, event planning, and representing an organization in public settings.

✅ Tech-savviness – Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
