Human Resource Business Partner


Established Non Profit in Burlington County looking to add a sharp HRBP to their Team!
$65K-$75K Direct Hire
In Office 9-5pm M-F

Position Qualifications :  

  • Minimum of 2 years of broad-based Human Resources experience with an emphasis in high volume recruiting. Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality or manufacturing preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, Agency Psychology or related field from a 4-year accredited university is required.
  • Professional certification by the Society for Human Resources Management preferred.
  • Competency with office skills: Microsoft Office; internet savvy; able to operate printer/copiers; proficient in written and oral communications.
  • Experience with applicant tracking software and online recruitment strategies preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable employment laws is preferred.
  • Ability to establish rapport quickly with people, friendly approach.
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and carry out assigned job responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently, possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with all levels and diverse groups both within and outside the agency.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project management skills and relationship building skills.
  • Must be able to develop effective and concise communications.
  • Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all agency information, both internal and external.
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent agency skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.

Program Responsibilities:   

  • Serves as the HR recruiting partner for assigned departments, providing both strategic and tactical HR support while ensuring the effective execution of HR initiatives and agency objectives.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned departments, ensuring timely completion of hiring, onboarding, and compliance requirements, including offer letters, pre-employment screenings, and new hire documentation.
  • Leads the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to enhance recruitment efficiency and reporting capabilities.
  • Coordinates and facilitates new employee orientation and onboarding programs, including the review of company policies, procedures, benefits, and agency culture.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports key human resources metrics, including employee satisfaction, turnover, recruitment effectiveness, retention, and training outcomes.
  • Provides workforce trends, analytics, and recommendations to the Vice President of Human Resources to support strategic decision-making.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with managers and employees, providing guidance and consultation on employee relations, performance management, and other HR matters.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure agency compliance and minimize risk.
  • Partners with leadership and employees to strengthen workplace relationships, improve employee engagement, increase productivity, and enhance retention efforts.
  • Provides project management support for HR initiatives, agency development programs, process improvements, and change management activities.
  • Develops, administers, and analyzes employee engagement and satisfaction surveys, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior Human Resources team members and business partners, supporting their professional development, enhancing HR competencies, and promoting consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the agency.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Travels between company locations as needed to support HR operations and employee engagement activities.
