Human Resources Manager/Director
Job Summary: Under direction from BLUSA’s executive team, the Human Resources executive is responsible for the daily activities regarding staffing, employee relations, management training, employee morale and development, policies and procedures updating and implementation.
Essential Functions - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Manage the Company’s recruitment efforts
Manage the Company’s Annual and 30-60-90 Day Performance reviews/pay increases
Manage HR team
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
- Schedule ongoing meetings with management
- Provide policy/procedures training to managers and staff
Address employee grievances, counsel employees and supervisors, and provide corrective action plans when needed
Lead the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality
Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard HR procedures
Review with Management, and update as needed, the Company’s handbook, job descriptions/classifications
Create an energizing work environment that supports the Company’s high-performance culture while ensuring an efficient and flexible organization
Participate in the assessment of the Company’s benefits plan review, as well as serve as a resource to employees with questions regarding benefits
All other duties as assigned

Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related discipline
6-8+ years in human resources management
Understanding of federal and state HR laws
Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies
Experience leading people and obtaining results through others
Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with payroll/ HR administration software, such as ADP Workforce Now a plus
