The Opportunity: Join our Client Service Team as a key contributor to the client experience. The Senior Client Services Associate (Sr. CSA) plays a vital role in supporting our Wealth Management Team by ensuring client satisfaction through personalized service and efficient task management. This position offers a pathway to growth, with potential career progression to roles such as Wealth Management Associate, Senior Wealth Management Associate and Wealth Advisor or into a Client Service managerial role. Position Details:
Duration: Permanent, full-time
Location: Office located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Hybrid work considered.
Compensation: Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Service: Deliver exceptional service, resolve client inquiries, and enhance client relationships through attentive and proactive support.
- Client Interaction: Grow into serving as a primary point of client contact for non-advice issues, managing escalated needs and building stronger client relationships.
- Decision Making: Exercise greater judgment in resolving client issues and acting as a liaison between clients and advisors.
- Meeting Support: Prepare advisors for client meetings, manage follow-ups, and ensure timely completion of action items. Participate in client meetings when needed taking notes and owning task follow-up.
- Operational Tasks: Efficiently process and execute tasks and be able to manage multiple priorities at once. Tasks would include new account setup, distributions & deposits, 401K rollovers, estate administration processing, registration changes, RMD monitoring and other routine account maintenance issues.
- Overseeing Complex Client Requests: Working autonomously on more complex client tasks seeing them through to completion and documentation of same.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Planning & Investment Support: Effectively use financial planning software to enter client data, prepare reports, and support investment management projects.
- Mentoring: As we grow staff, lead or mentor more junior CSAs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with all MPW team members to achieve overall business and client service goals.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of financial services experience, preferably in client service in wealth management.
- Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred.
- Possesses a strong understanding of financial products, services and operational procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Finance, Economics) with a strong academic record.
- Passion for learning and/or demonstrated interest in Wealth Management.
- Proficient in technology and financial software applications including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), CRM databases, financial planning, and portfolio management software.
- Superior relationship management skills; positive and professional demeanor and comfortable interacting directly with clients.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Client-focused, resourceful, and highly motivated to learn and contribute.
- Resourceful and able to navigate through roadblocks strategically leveraging resources.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, thinks critically to make reasoned judgments before taking action.
- Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- Solid work ethic with history of taking initiative, being accountable, follow-through, and delivery a quality work product.
- Trustworthy, able to work with discretion when dealing with highly personal and confidential data.
