Join the Social Responsibility Through Me (SRTM) After-School Program and help inspire the next generation of leaders. We're looking for dependable, energetic, and caring Teacher Assistants to support students in a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.

As a Teacher Assistant, you'll assist with homework, lead enrichment activities, supervise students, support classroom instruction, and help create meaningful experiences for youth throughout the school year.

Position Details:

• Part-Time
• Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
• September 2026 – June 2027
• Camden, NJ
• $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist teachers during after-school programming
• Help students with homework and small group activities
• Supervise students during classroom and recreational activities
• Track attendance
• Lead games, team-building, and enrichment activities
• Build positive relationships with students
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Attend required trainings and meetings

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Passion for working with children and youth
• Reliable, professional, and a team player
• Able to work Monday–Friday afternoons

Previous experience working with children, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camps, or after-school programs is preferred but not required. We encourage applicants who are eager to learn and committed to making a positive impact.
