Teacher of Biomedical Science
Burlington County Institute of Technology -- Westampton Campus is seeking a teacher of Biomedical Science to join our district. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate professionals in biomedical and health sciences to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders. Using the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum, this program provides students with hands-on, real-world experiences that prepare them for careers in healthcare, biotechnology, and biomedical research.
Candidates must meet or be eligible for the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification for Biomedical Science. Eligible degrees include Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Genetics, Health Sciences, Nursing, and Health Studies, as well as fields such as Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. Healthcare professionals with degrees including MD, DO, DC, DDS, DMD, NP, PA, PT, and OT are also encouraged to apply.
Salary per negotiated agreement
Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
