The Cooperative's Non-Public School Nurse Program is growing its team for the 2026-2027 school year! Part-time and full-time positions are available.

The school nurse will provide healthcare services to students and staff in a non-public school setting. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining health records and documenting student health issues/events in accordance with New Jersey state law. 

Essential Functions:

• Maintains health records consistent with state and local requirements
• Provides emergency care for injuries and illness in the school as determined by the professional judgment of the nurse
• Administers medication/treatment to students as per specified approved written policy
• Performs health screenings as mandated by the state with referrals and follow up as needed
• Communicates with faculty, parents and students to serve the best interest of the students regarding health services
• Acts as a resource person for students, their families and faculty
• Compiles reports related to services delivered in schools and submits reports to School Nurse Manager
• Performs other duties as assigned
